YOUTH CAMPS FOR A VARIETY OF AGES

Focused on honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and enjoyment – camps for our juniors are a critical component of Wikiup’s commitment to our youth and our community.

Spanish Camp

The program is designed to saturate kids in Spanish. At camp they will play games, sing songs, read stories, create arts and crafts, use technology, and of course swim – ALL using Spanish! Teachers will speak in Spanish and kids will be encouraged to speak in Spanish, but English is also welcome!

Students will also get one hour of free swim.

Art Camp

In this camp children will have the opportunity to explore & experience diverse art forms and develop confidence that comes from trying new creative activities. In addition to creating art, children will work on problem-solving skills, making connections, perseverance, and will see that ” happy accidents ” can result in unforeseen avenues. Some of the materials we plan on using are (but not limited to) paper, modeling clay, collage, and paint.

Children will also get one hour of free swim.

Basketball Camp

This camp will focus on individual skill development of passing, shooting and dribbling. The camp will be held at the basketball court at Wikiup Tennis and Swim Club. The last hour of the camp will be recreational swimming and water games.

Volleyball Camp

Wikiup Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises focusing on passing, setting, hitting and serving.

This co-ed program is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our Volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through game-based drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player.

The last hour of the camp will be recreational swimming and water games.

Half Day Tennis Camp

Join juniors, ages 7 – 15 for summer tennis camp at beautiful Wikiup Tennis and Swim Club. Train with other juniors from all around Sonoma County, from beginner to intermediate players. Participants will work on coordination, agility, footwork and strokes that will transfer to all sports. Wikiup offers a professional, experienced tennis staff who provide a fun filled day of learning through tennis games and drills. The participants will have an opportunity to cool off with a swim in our majestic pool area with lifeguards and camp staff supervision. Lunch and snacks are available for purchase at the snack bar.
